Holds on to it for accessories

The magnet is strong and the underside of the suction cup has stuck to my slightly textured dashboard for weeks with no problem. I held it in place but didn't have to use a sticky pad to give it a smooth finish.

Need better magnets

Easy to install in the car. I need better magnets so the phone can stand sideways or when I use cards and need to charge the phone I don't have to turn the phone upside down as the mount is on the dashboard.

Not strong enough for very large phones

Attaches to my dashboard very easily. It fits snugly on my dashboard and has a strong magnetic attraction to the phone. Unfortunately it's not strong enough to hold my very large phone. I have an iPhone 12 Max and it's too big. The magnet holds until I stumble over a bump or go around the corner, the phone falls off immediately.

Strong Magnet: Mounts

My phone is big and heavy and I used to have a car mount where the magnet wasn't strong enough to hold it securely on bumpy roads. This one really impressed me. It comes with 3 metal plates to choose from and the magnet is really good. I tested it for a few days before posting this review and now I'm sure my expensive phone is safe. The sticky gel is also very good. I was able to switch to another location and the suction was still great.

Just what I needed

I bought this not to use in the car but as a phone stand on my desk. This allows me to place my phone on the table and freely watch any video in landscape mode, allowing me to set the best viewing angle. My hands stay free so I can multitask when needed. I have a Samsung Note phone in an OtterBox and it stays in place when I put it on the stand so the magnet is pretty strong to say the least. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again if needed.
