When I actually had to look through the extension, the field of view was incredibly distorted, almost dizzying. Cannot be used if you are looking through the shield while driving. This deflector may appeal to many, but it has a few drawbacks. At this price I waive this rating. On the plus side, the shield is pretty solid, thick, durable, and reasonably clear.
