Description of ๐ŸŽพ ADV Tennis Dry Overgrip - 12 or 30 Pack - High Velvety Comfort with Exclusive FeltTac Material - Ultra Absorbent Grip Tape - Pro Tested & Designed

๐ŸŽพ Great grip, no slips: tested and designed by pro players and coaches, ADV Tennis overgrips are made from a proprietary ultra-absorbent FeltTac material to provide a super-dry firm grip when it counts; ideal for long matches in all climates, especially hot and humid. ๐ŸŽพ Exclusive feathered comfort: FeltTac grip tape has a unique feathered PU material surface providing soft cushioning to promote a more relaxed grip allowing more confident strokes and greater feel. Oh, this also means blisters will be a thing of the past!. ๐ŸŽพ These grips last longer with high tear resistance: ADV overwraps donโ€™t rip easily due to reinforced PU compounds. Other brands are less durable so youโ€™ll buy more often, we instead want to give you a long lasting grip. Each grip is extra wide for greater coverage and includes finishing tape with a tapered end for secure wrapping. Includes a BONUS weatherproof pouch. ๐ŸŽพ 3 layers to improve your feel: 1) a bristled cotton base layer for a secure yet gentle fit, 2) 100% cotton spin cloth mid-layer for high absorbency yet a low profile, 3) a feathered PU top layer for velvety comfort with moderate tack. ๐ŸŽพ Lifetime guarantee with a promise to do good: If, for any reason, you would like to return a product, we offer a no hassle replacement or full refund. We are grateful for all that our customers allow us to do, such as helping non-profits that promote youth empowerment through tennis. Our customers support us and we always promise to pay it forward.

I hate this grip: Accessory

I cannot express how frustrated this grip has gotten me after months of use. I bought these thinking they would be a good set but unfortunately I have to tell you they are not. My first problem with this grip is that it slips off the racquet when playing tennis. I was shocked to see this grip literally slip off my racquet as I played it. I figured it might have been a one off issue with the grip I was using which was a mistake but no, all thirty slip off the racquet no matter how tight you wrap

Pros
  • Accessory
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good, firm, medium grip

As for the grip, I prefer the "Goldilocks Zone" grip - not too absorbent but not so sticky that it feels like glue on the skin. to grab. Despite what most manufacturers suggest, grips usually fall on both sides of the spectrum. The ADV Pro overlays are a great compromise between these two opposing ideas. As temperatures rise here in the south, the Pro overgrips allow me to grip my racquet differently when needed (e.g. more grip on serves, less on volleys) and wick sweat. Due to gripโ€ฆ

Never use anything else

I was in a bad mood when I bought these pens. I'm a 4.0 player and just wrapped up the most frustrating day of tennis I can remember, all because I was sweating through not one but two new Wilson grips in an hour to the point of being powerless losing control of my racquet. I live in Dallas and humidity can be an issue, especially in 100+ degree weather, and this particular day had both. Desperate for something to keep my palms and grip dry I wrapped my racquet in one of these ADV Dry Overgrips

Thick Heavy Duty Rubber

I love this ADV rubber for some of my tennis racquets.1. This is noticeably the thickest grip I've used. I use the Wilson Pro OG for myself and the kids I train. I feel like the ADV is thicker than if I overlapped it 50% which is basically a double layer. So I like to put these on chopsticks with a slightly smaller handle so the thickness adds a bit of girth.2. By far the strongest grip - with the Wilson I've used it for about 5 sessions or 2 weeks and I've turned it inside out or turned itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Racket Grips
Cons
  • Wrinkled Pack

Good price, not very absorbent

So I ordered them on a whim after seeing someone on the Tennis Warehouse forums raving about them. My choice for hot weather is the OG TournaGrip. Tournas are slightly more expensive than these and their durability is abysmal. So I was open to the idea of trying a cheaper option that is also absorbent, durable, and comfortable. I used this ADV grip for a batting session and I love it! It's quite soft in texture. It has a certain appeal, but it's not as sticky as say Wilson Pro or Yonex Superโ€ฆ
