Very easy to install with the two pan head screws provided. I had no issues with thickness as I used low voltage wall plate and not a box - all perfect. In terms of signal strength, according to my Tivo, I get 95-98 percent on my local channels and over 60 percent on my 50-80 mile channels. Didn't introduce noise into Antop Big Boy's antenna signal.

I admit that this was an additional purchase. This product is simply a blank wall plate with two holes drilled in it and then a coax splitter held in place with simple metal nuts. You can make it yourself using the following parts: 1) Blank wall plate 2) Coax splitter 3) Drill bit 4) Two nuts to attach the coax splitter to the wall plate.
