The first retainer I've found that actually immobilizes the thumb. The only problem I've found is that it rubs between the thumb and forefinger. We need to attach a mole skin so there is no bubble. Other than that, it's the best I've found.

I love this wrist brace! It's really comfortable and breathable, the BOA closure is awesome and it's really easy to zip up instead of having velcro all over the place. I also have very small hands and my thumb doesn't normally fit in any other wrist brace, but to my surprise it worked! I would recommend this product to anyone with small hands!

Perfectly stabilizes the wrist. Adjustment is very easy and you don't have to deal with the gross, annoying Velcro of other tires. The only downside is that for me the part that holds your thumb back creates an uncomfortable feeling in the skin between your thumb and forefinger. There is a non-adjustable elastic part (with an additional adjustable one above) that seems unnecessary.

Purchased from de Quervain. You can feel the support with it immediately and it's easy to put on and take off for hand washing, which is very important when the little ones are around. The only downside for me is that the metal thumb rest is not rounded in the thumb notch, causing it to sit oddly and dig into the top of the thumb knuckle. Even with the reconfiguration recommended in the instructions, I couldn't quite get rid of that.

I have severe arthrosis in both wrists and have worn braces almost constantly for a few years. I have what I classify as day and night braces. I've ordered many different types, some good, some not so good. This is a class of night bandages and they are by far the best! They're comfortable with extra padding on the inside, don't make my hands sweat, and the Boa technology makes them easy to slip on and adjust. Just press a button and you're done! Highly recommended

My wrist is 6.1 inches and although the chart says M I chose Small and it fits perfectly! I like that BOA is easy to put on and take off. My wrist and thumb are already feeling some relief and the swelling on the thenar has gone down. I thought my pain was due to a pinched nerve in the muscle as I had just had ACDF and the nerves in my hands were still irritated from - due to over-sensitive nerves, but I realized that shoulder and elbow pain was from C5/C6- Radiculopathy pain from severe C5/C6…

The brace itself is very comfortable and extremely easy to use. Unfortunately, the thumb/spike aspect aggravated my pain in that area. It can do wonders for other people's thumb pain/sting pain, but my thumb wasn't one of them. The forearm/wrist was great and I will most likely order the non-thumb/ear immobilizer version of this product.
