Good filter, not a productive product.

Bought for my 13 year old GMC Sierra (5.3). It appears to be a nice and well-made product, but I haven't noticed any difference in performance or MPG. I might end up buying an AEM capture to make it work with that, but as a separate purchase for those looking for a performance boost, I caution you. This is a good filter that can be cleaned/reused. With the price of paper filters, you quickly recoup your investment and for that reason I like it very much.

Never need a replacement again! Increase MPG!

I needed a new air filter for my 2007 Tahoe. I just drove 1000,000 miles to my family's house. My original order didn't arrive on time so I canceled it and ordered a new one and it was sent to me. After a few days it was time to go home, I replaced my old dirty filter with this new AEM dry flow. Mileage went up about 1mpg per 1000-mile trip, I'm sure it would have improved with a standard replacement, but maybe not by that much. The best thing is that I will never have to buy another filter for

Really great product.

I fitted this to my existing airbox which is connected to an AIRAID intake arm which replaces the stock arm with additional filters which cut your airflow. As soon as the AEM dry filter moves into MAN, you immediately feel the difference. I also recently sport tuned my truck with the Diablo Sport Tuner (sold by Revain), it fits well. Before changing the lever and filter, I didn't get the desired fuel economy, it ran a little heavy. as soon as they occur, although the machine runs softer and…

Better efficiency of dry filters, but.

Let me first say that after long hours of research, aem dryflow has the best performance rating for FINE mud at 99.4x the ISO rating. The information is hard to find, but it's there. It was necessary to have it for the dusty environment in the west while getting extra performance. It's not something you can feel, but it's there. You can see it in the fuel trim and the 0.4mpg increase if you're not a fool. However, I am disappointed with the quality of the silicone molds. As you can see from the

Fantastic filter and easy to install on 2014 Silverado

Installed this filter on my Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2014 5.3L. Anyway, I needed to change the air filter and thought I'd go for a high flow one as I had some work on the exhaust. I wouldn't see the exhaust noise change or actually increase my mileage or anything crazy. However, I have the feeling that the throttle response is a bit better. I think this combined with the performance of the exhaust allowed the truck to breathe MUCH better. the goal of its durability and ease of maintenance…

2011 Silverado AEM 28-20129 Dryflow Air Filter

I have used this type of filter before in a 2011 Charger and let me tell you why I keep buying it. 1.) This is a DRY type filter that you can use. again and again and again. Not like the paper you use once and throw away. 2.) If you clean it, you don't have to worry about re-lubrication and using too much or too little oil. Just rinse and put back in place 3.) AEM Dryflow air filters don't slow down the air your engine needs when they're dirty like a paper filter does, your engine still gets…
