I was so excited when I received this. So disappointed that in such a short time and not daily use the wire broke and broke during use.

I love this cheese cutter. I make and sell sausage boards for a living, so I end up slicing a lot of cheese! I regularly cut rounds of goat cheese, and logs of goat cheese can be very brittle and break easily. This cheese slicer effortlessly cuts clean slices and allows me to get the most out of my product. It was a great find!

It's on the bigger end of the cheese cutter but I like it. I can easily handle stones and wedges of different sizes. My only complaint is that it doesn't quite cut through. I still have to break off a piece of cheese (if it's a harder cheese). But my friend has one where the wire touches the cutting board but still doesn't completely cut through the cheese in the middle of the brick.

It cuts goat cheese very well which was the main cheese I bought it for so I'm keeping it for myself! My only complaint is that I cut my cheese on a cutting board and the handles that hold the wire are longer than the wire so at some point they hit the cutting board before the wire and the cheese doesn't cut all the way through. I think I need to find a really thin cutting board, but other than that, for $10, there's really nothing to complain about!

Worked well until it broke. Cuts through the block of cheese about 90%, then you have to rotate the block of cheese to get the last piece. It broke after a few uses. UPDATE: I found an article that actually works for this purpose. Coping saw Olson Saw. Just cut my first piece of cheese with it. Since they are designed to cut wood, the cheese wasn't an issue.
