OK. I know it's a $7 aerator, but it's not very good. I've used it on two different bottles. The first had a wide opening and the aerator had to be held up to prevent it from falling out when pouring. Tonight, on a different bottle, it seemed to fit right in. When I tried to pull it out to store the bottle in the fridge, the rubber seal slipped off the plastic sleeve and stayed in the bottle. I had to use needle nose pliers to pull it out. My husband and I did a taste test to try to tell the difference between a cup with and without aeration. non-ventilated glass. In truth, the difference was subtle at best, and an $8 bottle of wine doesn't taste any better than an $8 bottle of wine. It sits in my desk drawer and I forget to use it most of the time. But hey.
