Game-changer for my workshop

This shank adapter has been a game-changer for my industrial and scientific workshop. It fits perfectly into my stock of drill bits and helps increase stability and precision during drilling. The adapter is made from high-quality materials, making it durable and long-lasting. However, the downside is that it can be a bit pricey, but the investment is worth the improved performance. Overall, I highly recommend this adapter for any industrial and scientific application.

Pros
  • Eases the connection between the AERO 401 shank and the drilling tool
Cons
  • Requires the use of an AERO 401 shank, limiting compatibility with other types of shanks

Must be annealed, otherwise good.

Same as Aircraft Tool Supply. They are too complex and need to be "normalized" before use. Heat them until they are red and let them air cool. Since doing this I haven't had any more problems.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • A few small parts

It's better to buy them by the dozen!

I was excited when I first heard about these adapters. Finding long .498 hammer bits for my cp717 is nearly impossible, but this adapter allows me to use my standard 401 bits. The concept is great, but these adapters just can't handle the punches of "big nasty" air hammers. I used this adapter 2 or 3 times before it broke to pieces!

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
