Too Thick for an Audi Symphony II Radio

These tools are too thick for the Symphony II Radio in my 04ft Audi A4. They only worked after strong pressure. They caused minor damage to the front panel connectors. I ordered a thinner version and this is the way to go. You don't have to use the right tool. It can work for other Audi vehicles, but not for Symphony II.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Thin

The tools worked as advertised.

This item was purchased to remove the VW Passat radio to check the fuse as the radio no longer works. I was hoping the fuse was the problem and I didn't have to change the radio. The tool arrived and I was able to complete the task of removing the radio and replacing the fuse. The tool worked great and I save money for the workshop. Thank you, S. Holder, Ft. Meyers, Florida

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • High Price

They don't repair very well, not good for stubborn radios.

So they didn't "stick" to my radio. If you look at the cutout design on the front, you can see why it slides off and doesn't allow the radio to be pulled out. I ordered other keys with a nicer notch and they engaged with a strong click and I was able to turn off my stubborn radio. I ordered a "good" set from 42draftdesigns.com, but there are probably other options on Amazon.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Negative impression

Does not fit Mercedes Head Unit, have 3 instead of 4 pieces

Tools are too thick, simple and simplistic. I could have saved myself money and frustration if I had first used the small pocket knives I use now. The order came quickly but of the 4 tools advertised only came 3. Do not buy these they will not work in Mercedes head units without removing the plastic keys. They also get stuck making it impossible to remove the main units on 3 of my machines. Yes, I tried all three cars.

  • Best
Cons
  • No machine gun

2001 CLK320 Installs and removes the stock radio

These are perfect for removing the stock radio from my 2001 Mercedes Benz CLK320. Aligning the buttons can take a few seconds (the left side of my radio is wobbly, the right side is always easy) but once you've aligned the buttons you can feel them click/click and then just gently nudge the two Pull rings Equal force on both sides and radio should slide out. Mine feels a little snug, but it moves. Not sure if I need two sets but I have backups if needed. These keys will NOT fit the climate…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

The best tool and price. You will not be disappointed.

Worked great! Everything was as advertised... It was just as good as the more expensive options that I've unfortunately bought in the past. And those were quick shifts, and the instruments were labeled accordingly. Obviously these are not OEM or genuine Audi parts but they do the same job. I believe these silent tools come with a lifetime warranty or something. I'm not sure how or why I've ever had to make a warranty claim, but I've used a variety of tools because I've had electrical issues and

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I have an 02 VW Cabrio and the idea behind it is amazing. It's very clear and much simpler and neater than my previous Bluetooth FM modulator. The only downside is that after a minute I get a BEEP and a CD ERROR on the radio. then it works, but randomly every few minutes (can't figure out when or why as it's really random, sometimes 1 minute sometimes 5) it goes silent for a beat, literally just a beat, and shows a CD error to the radio for a while and keeps playing music. The little quirks are

Pros
  • Nice design
Cons
