Using this stuff to heal my whole back I've been working on this for a year. It is actually better than the official Saniderm. Adhesion is amazing and you can easily shower or even (not recommended) swim with it on without breaking the seal. This makes healing the tattoo a breeze and saves me a lot of discomfort as I can rest comfortably on my new ink.

A good cover has certainly helped with the tattoo. It kept my bra from rubbing and allowed me to go to the gym without having to worry about it. I only wanted to use this product to sleep at night. I took a 1 hour nap with the bandage on. It only took 1 hour. I have sensitive skin after a tattoo, the skin was slightly red from irritation (see first photo) but when I removed the bandage it was bright red and burning. I'm only giving this review based on my reaction to the adhesive after using it for less than 24 hours. I've never had a negative reaction to glue, but my new tattoo is more swollen, irritated and painful than ever. I hate this. Tried wearing it to protect my new arm tattoo from water (I'm a dog groomer and even took a week off after getting it had received). It detached and let in a lot of water so I had to take it off and it detached most of the outline and some of the color from my tattoo! I have to redo everything. I did the same to my fiancee's tattoo. Very unhappy. I added a photo of the new tattoo right after I did it and then a photo after using this material.

It definitely does its job I wear it to work and I can work freely I don't even take it off when I shower and it stays in place perfectly. The only problem is that it hurts to remove. So if you don't have moisturizer or something else on the real tattoo, the sticky part will stick to the tattoo and may even ruin the tattoo. So my advice would be to just apply Aquaphor to the tattoo and let it dry all over so it can actually stick to your skin.
