This great Extension saved the day!It's thin enough to connect to a case.It snaps securely into the two Type-C ports and allows thicker cables to be connected.I explain it's thin but I haven't feel like it's somehow not robust. It actually seems to get through the connection without slowing it down. At least as far as I can tell. This really is a base product and it really does what it says on the tin in terms of expanding your ports. it should be able to easily connect/disconnect the device and on that front the product fails. The surface of the product is smooth, so it is difficult to peel off. You can't squeeze the small sides of the device to disable it. If you squeeze and pull the large sides of the device very hard, you can turn it off, but it's very difficult. This appears to be a very simple design oversight…

I haven't used it as an extension cord, I have a case and it fits, just look (MBP 16' 2019) I bought it so I don't have to connect the charger AND an external monitor every time I sit down at my desk.
