I bought this dog because my husband and I wanted a dog but he is disabled and we live in a very small apartment. He's 85 and I'm 77 and we can't afford a dog under our feet to trip us up. We love this dog, he entertains us every day. We talk to him and he answers us. None of us are bedridden or have dementia, but this dog makes us laugh every day.
