Great for the elderly and children.

I have early stage dementia and live alone so I am preparing for the inevitable nursing home. I like to prepare as best I can and after seeing an ad for this product I thought it was the perfect way to offer me company and comfort when I'm feeling down. I didn't expect to like the little pup so much at this point. His sweet reactions to voice and movement, his heartbeat when petted, his wheezing/light snoring when falling asleep make it impossible not to smile. turn it off, although the time…

World's Best Dog

I bought this dog because my husband and I wanted a dog but he is disabled and we live in a very small apartment. He's 85 and I'm 77 and we can't afford a dog under our feet to trip us up. We love this dog, he entertains us every day. We talk to him and he answers us. None of us are bedridden or have dementia, but this dog makes us laugh every day. Family members who come to visit also speak to "Wolfgang". I would recommend this dog to anyone who wants a dog but can't handle training or walking

Pros
  • Best in its Niche

  • Upgradable

Not such a perfect pet after all

I first bought this interactive dog for my mom in June 2019. She immediately liked them and they became inseparable. Unfortunately, after three months, "Monty" began to squeak loudly when he turned his head. It was uncomfortable. So I took the puppy out and replaced him with a new dog in October. As another reviewer noted, the second one didn't respond as well as the first one and now it's completely broken. Yes I changed the batteries and yes I checked them first. What should I do now? Mom…

Perfect for Alzheimer's animal lovers

My mother is 85 and has Alzheimer's - just like her mother did when she was that age, but back then we still called it dementia. We had to put her 10 year old Pekingese down due to complications after a fall and she was devastated. Taking care of a real dog was out of the question for her - she couldn't remember if she let the dog out and waited too long to do so when she did. She couldn't stop crying after he died and I found this "puppy" on Revane. I took it out of the box at my house…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Updates

At first I wasn't sure if buying a "robot dog" was right for me as I'm not one of their target customers; I don't have dementia and I'm not elderly and I've never lived with a dog. Actually, I used to only live with cats. But then I moved to a strict no-pets building. I bought this "dog" to help me transition from a real pet to a pet-free life. I chose the Joy for All dog over the Joy for All cat because of the bark technology. I wanted something that really spoke to me (my voice or my touch)…

Pros
  • Nice packaging

  • Don't remember
