Solid unit: Accessories

To be honest, a little more accurate than I expected. As with many things like this, it requires some checking and calibration, but seems very consistent.

came quickly i think it works

i haven't tested it yet but i think it's ok. The sensor is of much better quality than I expected, and while it's not waterproof, it's epoxy sealed and somewhat weather resistant.

Great for what I have in mind

Great for what I have in mind. My only concern is temperature accuracy. My BMP180 sensor always shows +1C. It's okay, but I would like to know about sensors.

Works well with Raspberry Pi

Works well with Raspberry Pi Zero W I made a temperature monitoring solution for my wife with an instructable post. You can see the graphical data of temperature and humidity in the picture. It matches other sensors I have at home.

Reads about 1 degree higher. Problems with polling every 5 seconds

DHT22 should support polling every 2 seconds. To be safe, I did this every 5 seconds and still had issues when every 4 or 5 readings it returned "nan", aka Not A Number, instead of the actual temperature and humidity reading. I'm using the Adafruit DHT library for Arduino. Temperature readings are accurate to 1/10th of a degree, so I expected decent accuracy, but it showed slightly high readings compared to several other sensors.

Very easy to use, very accurate

Used for smart home projects with Raspberry Pis and Raspberry Pi Zeros. In general, I am very satisfied with the processing quality and the operation of the device. I've compared it to expensive home weather stations/thermometers and found the accuracy to be within +/- 0.3°C. It's also very easy to set up a Raspberry Pi device - documentation is plentiful, and the manufacturer has labeled the pins correctly too (which unfortunately isn't always the case with other manufacturers).
