Served their purpose

My cat had kittens, they were used to telling them apart as all kittens are gray and look the same. They are huge for newborn kittens but can be trimmed to make them work.

Pros
  • Collars
Cons
  • Not as fat as others

this is normal for kittens but not the best.

Be careful, as the Velcro fasteners can come loose and get caught in one another. It's a little frustrating when using it on 3 day old kittens because they'll stick together and if you're not around to help they won't be able to separate on their own. They're probably best for puppies and not kittens, but we've already bought them so we'll get them working.

Pros
  • Pet supplies
Cons
  • Not all fit

Ideal for adopted kittens!

The material is soft and doesn't bother the kittens. The Velcro is strong enough to hold on to. I ended up trimming the ribbons to better fit my kittens - four identical white kittens made them very necessary!

Pros
  • Collars
Cons
  • Soft

Puppies stick together

Bought in anticipation of a large litter of puppies. Unfortunately, the identification collars did not fit me. The collars kept sticking together and the puppies kept crying because their wounds were sticking together and couldn't move freely. Woke up a few times during the night due to puppies being stuck on their own (as if waking up every 2 hours wasn't enough). If anyone has any recommendations please let me know. I ended up removing the collars and tracing each pup's markings.

Not suitable for puppies.

Anyone who has had a litter of puppies knows how fast they grow. Because these callers only have about an inch of Velcro section, only the last inch attaches to the collar. So either you have a lot of loose collar that you hope stays inside/under the "wrap" of the collar around the pup's neck. Otherwise you will have to trim the collar to the correct length, which means the collar will become unusable as the puppy grows. We have great success with the ALL4PET 15-piece puppy collar set. Velcro…

Pros
  • collars, harnesses and leashes
Cons
  • The list will be long.
