Description of Clear Glass Planaria Trap - Ideal for Catching Cherry Shrimp, Crystal Red Shrimp, Dwarf Shrimp - Ailindany Aquarium Supplies

Made of high quality crystal glass, high brightness, acid and alkali resistant, free from corrosion, flatness is good, no water ripples. Planaria trap comes with 3 holes design, which is able to trap planaria efficiently to reduce planaria population in fish tank. Planaria trapped inside the tube will never able to come out from the designed hole. Trap/catches planaria, flat worms and leeches. Put in bait such as raw pork liver, dead fish, shrimp, meat, etc, then fill the trap with water and place it with holes facing down soil bed. Simply bait the trap and gently place it on top of the substrate, which would not allow any shrimp lets to be able to crawl in. Take out the trap next day and clear and wash the trip, and then repeat the steps.

Not suitable for fish and aquatic animals

I have tried this bait several times but it has never caught planarians or detritus in my tank. I would stick with a turkey hook to get them out.

Pros
  • Trap/trap for planaria, flatworms and leeches. Lay out baits such as raw pork liver, dead fish, shrimp, meat, etc., then fill the trap with water and place the holes with soil.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other baits

Madewell but not worth it Tiny Hole

I have tried this several times in my marine aquarium to catch bristleworms. I have tried different lures and nothing has worked.

Pros
  • The planaria trap has 3 holes to effectively catch planaria and reduce their population in the aquarium.
Cons
  • Some problems

Very good quality glass at the price of

It's great for what it is. I've used it many times to catch flatworms. One trick I've noticed is to empty the trap when you notice it has worms in it. I fed them food and after a few hours it was full, but after a few weeks they only got caught up in the first few minutes like they knew I was taking them. I'll have to change the bait and see. I recommend to anyone who has a full infestation and needs it to keep from looking gross.

Pros
  • Made of high quality crystal glass, high brightness, acid and alkali resistant, no corrosion, good flatness, no water ripples.
Cons
  • Some flaws

all worms will be gone by morning

My tank is full of flatworms. I tried this trap instead of medicine. the trap lasted more than a week, it was packaged very poorly, there was no box in the envelope, no instructions, not damaged. That night I put bait in it and put it in the aquarium. ten minutes after the lights went out it had about 5 or 6 worms in it, wow. Three hours later, there were more than I could count. First thing in the morning I checked, there wasn't a single worm in there. If you get this trap you should remove it

Pros
  • Simply set up the trap and place it carefully on the ground so that the shrimp cannot crawl in. The next day, remove the trap, clean and rinse the trap, and then repeat the steps.
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other pickaxes.
