I used for a couple of weeks to cover my house roof.

Decent hose so far, no black ends/kink guards on hose ends but so far it's a decent hose. If the ends stayed in place I would have rated it higher. But so far it has worked well and the price is right.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Repair

MADE FROM INADEQUATE MATERIALS IN DANGEROUS FASHION! They sent me a replacement when the first brass hose fitting squeaked off the hose at 155psi! Another did the same! Now I have this beautiful bruise on my forearm that is preventing the brass fitting from getting my HEAD OFF MY SHOULDERS!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good quality air hose at a very competitive price

I am very satisfied with the purchase of this rubber air hose. It is well made and has all the options I was looking for. Feel free to buy this if you're looking to invest in a new air hose. I checked out the big stores and what they were selling at the price they wanted was nothing compared to what you get when you buy it from Revain.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Nothing

Nice 50ft hose at a super bargain price

At twenty bucks this hose looks like a steal. I was planning on getting a 25 foot rubber tube for about $30, but when I saw the reviews of this tube and that it was 50 feet long and cheap I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did this because it feels and handles like rubber tubing but is lighter. My only problem right now is figuring out what to do with my 25ft PVC hose, which I doubt I'll ever use again.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Error

So far so good with power and hand tools

Giraffe Tools asked me to rate my purchase. I bought this hose with my first air compressor so I don't have much experience with air compressors or hoses but I did my research before purchasing. I am happy with this hose - very flexible and appears to be of good quality and construction. Haven't used it in the sub-zero temperatures we'll see in a moment so can't comment on cold weather performance but so far so good. I'll find out more after Christmas - this year I'll ask Santa for air tools.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Non automatic

Much better than the cheap ones that come with air compressors

Im impressed. For around $25 this is a pretty good air hose. Definitely a lot easier to use than the scroll plastic POS that came with my air compressor. The only issue I have is the need for a spool to hold everything, and the good ones seem to come with an air tube that's a bit larger than the spool itself, so I probably should have done a bit of digging before doing that Bought it knowing I wanted a spool too. This eventually becomes a backup and/or an extension once I have my reel/hose set…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

No memory? I laugh. this thing doesn't even turn around!

After 40+ years of happily using Goodyear rubber tubing I have decided to branch out and give this a try. It was neatly wrapped in the box and looked and felt inviting, really soft and pliable. But within 2 minutes it was a ball of spaghetti on the floor. I've tried wrapping it left and right then straightening everything and trying again. It's so malleable and so persistent in returning to its original size that it struggles to simply wrap it around the compressor knob. The photos show a few…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Good but not great

A few months later, dry rot appeared on it.

I liked the softness, flexibility and light shape. However, cracks appeared after just a few weeks, similar to dry rot. and after a few months those cracks had gotten deep enough that he now began to spit air out of those cracks. This hose has been stored in a temperature controlled apartment building for most of its life. I am amazed at its short lifespan and disappointed when I thought I had found such a wonderful product only to have it spoil so quickly. If you asked me for the first few…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
