🚚 AirLift 88390 LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Suspension System Review

I've wanted this set for a long time. I often haul 2000-2500 pounds of forage on my F250. The old springs were starting to sag, so I ordered a set. Installation was easy, instructions were clear and I got the job done in half a day despite a few breaks. I haven't towed our 5 wheel trailer yet, but I also expect it to be greatly improved.

Fairly easy to install. It took me a while to figure out which screws were for what. The only drilling was 2 holes 5/16 for Schrader valves. I installed it myself in 4-5 hours at a slow, methodical pace. Airbags have changed the rules of the game. Towed a 14,000lb fifth wheel and did the last part of the ride in winds in excess of 30mph. Stability was fantastic compared to the lack of airbags. I wish I had done this many years ago.

We tow a large 5 wheel camper van twice with my 2004 Ford and find the truck squats badly when we hook up the bus and unload the front the levels. That bothered me, especially when we noticed the muffler rattling against the bottom of the bed as we drove down the road. After fitting the lift kit, which by the way had very good installation instructions, I was able to raise the truck to the required level and the muffler noise was gone for good.
