High quality paring knife

I love this paring knife. A lot of! It feels good in my hand. Well balanced and well finished. The blade is made of German stainless steel with the addition of chrome, making it sharp, strong, durable, and stain and rust resistant. I have used this knife to cut chicken, vegetables and herbs. This paring knife is good for peeling fruits and vegetables, slicing cheese, dicing onions and chopping herbs. This is a small knife that looks BIG. It has a unique grip that I really like. Fits well in the

Light kitchen knife.

- The knife looks good and fits into any modern kitchen. It's lightweight (1.5 oz), all one piece (full shank) and comes sharp. - Blade length is approximately 3-1/2 inches with a small finger guard. The entire knife is well balanced making it easy to use for small tasks. - The blade is curved inward from the handle, which is great for removing seeds and peeling fruits and vegetables. For me, this style limits the knife from other tasks, but I consider it a dedicated kitchen tool. The handle…

Good enough to give as a gift

I find the hardest part to find a good bread knife. If he doesn't catch the bread, he may slip and pull his finger out. When the bread is soft but chewy, like the fresh rosemary sourdough I saved, it will form into a ball of dough. If you are sensory driven like me, you will love the pen. It instinctively slides in your hand like a tennis racket. Feels round and firm, but isn't so heavy that it puts undue stress on the wrist. You can't enjoy good bread without a good bread knife. That's a good…

Small but useful. Best in category Bread Knife

This is a very unique paring knife. Its form seems to limit it to specific tasks in my opinion. It's a little difficult to chop onions or chopped tomatoes, but it's nice to peel apples and pears if you don't eat the skins. I like to chop peppers, onions and tomatoes into chunks to add to soups and the like. This little knife will do it quickly. It just isn't good for even slicing and dicing because the blade is too small. I choose it because it's light and easy to use and I don't feel like…

Good price: cutlery and knife accessories

About $ 15 bread knife, in my opinion, definitely worth it! Bread knives work faster for me than any other knife. I don't know if it's because I use them the most, or they're getting harder and harder to sharpen, or you even notice a slight dullness in a bread knife, or a combination of the above. But I definitely use bread knives faster than any other knife. And I have to say that for the price it's a lot better than I expected. It has a good weight and balance to the touch. The blade is a…

Light, nice weight, exotic design

Better than the average knife, but not the most expensive. Although it's certainly exotic. Looks like something a Klingon could use. ;) It's a nice high carbon German stainless steel that takes a nice sharpening, but it needs to be hand washed and dried as it can rust in the dishwasher. (Not that you should wash a good knife in the dishwasher. The really cool thing about this knife is how the blade fits into the handle so there are no real seams to corrode, split or loosen the knife. Less…
