    Good but not suitable for water skiing and towing

    Due to the configuration of my tower I had to angle it to get the flag straight. The problem is that you can only adjust it to a few angles and I find it moves constantly.

    Very happy with the quality of this mount

    Very happy with the quality of this mount however the recommended sponge grip tab fits quite loosely. I was concerned that the flag might be thrown in rough water or high winds. I drilled and tapped the holder to fit the set screw (see photo), I have a feeling that's how it should be from the factory.

    Very cheap product and bad design. Would not recommend

    I bought 2 of them. I wish I could give them zero stars. Most likely a design flaw. The mounts do not stay tight due to the rubber bands around the mast. Even when docking before a strong gust, the flags will fall. One of them broke a needle after a few uses. Very cheap product and bad design. Wouldn't recommend it.

    Expensive but good quality

    I initially had a cheaper version of this holder on a clutch which has shifted over time. Eventually I gave in and bought this mount version which was hard to swallow due to the price. After receiving it, I can say that it was worth it. It's very secure and doesn't move. The product is well made and looks sturdy and durable. I should have understood that from the start.

    Depending on the angle and shape of your tower, it works pretty well with a flag made for it

One of my friend's boats was supposed to be tilted way back and one day the flag fell out at jet ski speed when the kids forgot to lower it, but that's not really the aim. I like it there when people swim and relax.

    Looks good but doesn't last at all.

    I had the same problem as someone else even with it securely installed and it looked like a good product. apparently cheaply made. I've tried various things including Loctite on the bolt and an extra washer to increase the torque and it doesn't work. I am very disappointed with how it has held up after only a few uses. I spent most of the year protecting it rather than looking for a replacement. I would hope a replacement would be sent for this but I don't think it would be under warranty. I…

    Locking pin broke and none of the angles were right

    There is a piece (ring) that attaches to the wakeboard tower which was relatively easy to install. From there you then attach the rod holder, which has a small pin designed to fit into the pre-drilled washer that is part of the wakeboard ring. You can then adjust the vertical angle with a pin locked into the pre-drilled holes, but there was no right position for our boat/rig angle, it was either too vertical or too far back. I settled on one that leaned back more, but in the end it didn't…
