Love deep V! This has helped my two younger boys pull up the slalom since they don't have to choose a side for the rope. Cons: Handle sinks and rope won't cut to shorten without adding permanent loops.

This summer I tried skiing again after 20 years and bought this rope for V to put on my slalom skis. Got up on the first try! So surprised! It's far enough from the grip that I didn't have to compress the skis and the grip was comfortable to grip.

My 11 year old daughter is struggling to learn how to get up on a ski, she did it on the first try with this rope, then after a few tries she tried a regular rope and could it do it. That gave her the boost she needed to get started.

This rope was bought for use with really wide HO brand slalom skis. The long V-shape of the handle and rope allows the skier to hold the ski up while waiting for the boat to move. As soon as the skier stands up, the rope slides forward off the ski and he or she water skis normally.

I was trying to get back there this year when I was 40 and my older, bigger body definitely made it harder to stay centered over the skis at the start.
