🍊 Airhead Super Slice: Top-rated 1-3 Rider Towable Tube for Boating - Orange, Three Person Review

We have an Airhead Super Slice and have used it for the last boating season. Easy to pull, doesn't "float" too far forward like some other tubes we've had with kids. Accommodates two children, three will be tight. Bought to tow a couple behind the boat and let 4 kids ride at the same time. Like a bright orange color for visibility too.

I have had many tow cameras over the years. What I like about it is the shape. Kids like it too (thicker on the straps). However, the tube does not stay inflated like any others I have had in the past. These things wear covers, not hoses. I wish they would just sell me a new cover, I have three absolutely fine pipes. Then I get this one and it stays uninflated. Confusing.

This towed object will not stay afloat when towed behind a boat. It becomes "underwater" and too dangerous to use safely. Our children were pulled under water with this hose. We started to move more slowly, he went under water. We started to move faster, he went under water. What's the use of this pipe if it doesn't stay afloat? Maybe the one we received was defective, but it was dangerous!

The hose was used on 2 children. We've used it about 8 times in the last year and a half. When it worked it was great and the kids loved it. However, all 4 main arms are now completely torn off. There is a photo of it that someone else posted. So it looks like if you don't have it now it's a problem. For the money they should have been better made. The swimmer was kept away from the sun.

We pull adult tubers on this thing at 30mph and when they whip out of the wake they're moving at about 50mph, we love this tube. You can grab the handle and pull the tube up so it doesn't tip over when you fly from side to side :) We've been doing this on the river for years. Oh and of course the kids love it too, we drag them a lot slower and the snorkel doesn't dive underwater on launch or impact which is nice and stable for them.

So far, so good! This was used quite heavily over the last Independence Day weekend. Two riders pulled very easily and had so much fun! The highest weight combo was probably around 280 and the tube was great. We added some air after the first day, but that was to be expected. After seeing it in person and seeing the quality, I really hope it lasts more than one season.

At first I thought it was amazing quality - three children fit in easily and there are comfortable handles to hold on to. After 1.5 seasons, one of the seams came undone when two slim teenage girls sat on it. Loved the trumpet before this event. I contacted Kibo the manufacturer to purchase a replacement tube and their responsiveness was terrible and when they finally answered me they sent me back to Revain. I've had one for a few months now and overall it's a good value handset. On the plus side, the kids enjoy the ride, the fabric holds up well when kids get in or out. Children can easily get back on the pipe if they fall. Cons: This is NOT a three person tube unless you have three people under the age of 10. Otherwise it's just a tube for two people. The zipper tends to unravel after use, so we need to rezip the zipper and drain the water. We need to see that before we change drivers. The tube…
