Great for my 3 year old

My 3 year old has been swimming since he was a little boy so he's almost to the point where he doesn't need swimming aids anymore but he does need them now. The problem we had with other swimmers was that he didn't like wearing them and tried to take them off. This one is comfortable enough to wear for hours at the pool.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Quick instructions

Next Level Float

Designed for use in a pool or near the shore. They are designed so that you can be close to your child while they are wearing them. I personally wouldn't use them on a boat. We use them for shared use by parents. Like hand floats, only better! I think other well-known brands are a better fit. They fit pretty well for preschoolers, but not for smaller or thinner kids.

The AIRHEAD Water Otter Elite children's life jacket is easy to put on and fits our little one very well. She doesn't mind wearing it and we love the extra security it gives. It is well made and very easy to set up and use. Overall, these are great security features that seem well thought out. Deserves a full five stars!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Little things

These floats are great for young children to swim with. They are easy to put on and adjust and work well for staying afloat. You want to make sure it's Coast Guard approved, which it is. My wife's only complaint was that she wanted the design to be nicer. I don't really care as long as it works what it does!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Zero

Life Saving Swim Tool - Boating

We're working on teaching my four year old to swim, so this is a great way to keep him safe in the water while he's still learning. He loves to. It's easy to put on and ready to go, unlike those old-school "floats" that need to be inflated. You simply slide your child's arms through the holes and secure them at the back with the integrated buckle. You can adjust the tightness of the buckle to ensure a snug fit. She still allows him to freely kick and swim while keeping his head above the water.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Crumpled

Much better than hand floats!

Thank you for finally having this design! The arm floats were good and all, but sometimes they slipped down the arm and put the child in danger of drowning. This keeps the child's entire body part above the water with their shoulders raised. Now I can let him play near the water or in shallow water without having to hold him every second. However, we recommend that you keep a close eye on your child when they are playing near or in the water, but now you don't have to be literally over themโ€ฆ

Our kids love them!

We ordered two of these for our children aged 3 and 5 and they love them. Summer is here and the bathing season is here! They are much better than our previous bouncy castles. They're filled with the same buoyant foam material that's used to make pool noodles (or straws, depending on what you call them) and wrapped in a pretty paperback cover. We were concerned at first because our 3 year old has very sensitive skin and is prone to breakouts on contact with certain fabrics (cotton is just forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not the best

Confidence the best safety and buoyancy aids

I read many reviews on this product before deciding to try one (snorkel model) for my son. He's always been a bit unsteady in the water and a friend of mine who is a swim coach recommends this type of "float" to kids to help them gain confidence. She was right! While he's certainly not fearless, he's less of a choke hold on me while we practice kick etc. in the pool. One issue I had was that my son was more of a pole and I had trouble tugging on the belt. tight enough. However, it was snugโ€ฆ
