Just what I need for engine cooling and air conditioning

I bought a timing belt kit with a water pump , but with a cross-threaded screw holding the idler pulley to the water pump. I thought it was a block until I saw it was part of a water pump and it fitted perfectly. I would thread the turnbuckle into the pump to make sure the threads are clean and also mark where the screw threads start as they will cross the threads slightly.

Excellent quality - looks exactly like the original model it replaced

I've read people talking about that Water Pumps Aisin are the perfect replacement for Subaru and this kit did not disappoint. It comes with all the pads you need and the fit and feel is high. It's made in Japan (like Subaru's OEM unit) and I'm sure it will hold up just as well as the original unit which I replaced with a 93K as part of a timing belt change.

Okay, but you may need a different fuser container.

This water pump has worked great so far (2 months of use). However, I must warn you that the thermostat housing on this pump may differ from your vehicle. My car (2007 Outback Manual 2.5L Sigle OHV NA) had the intake on the bottom and the Aisin pump on the front. Although it doesn't really matter. Just go to Revain and find this Dorman Thermostat Housing 902-5052. It was about $20. I don't know why Subaru has some pumps on the bottom and some on the front, but the cases are not interchangeable.
