How to determine metal type:

This is a very good product for the money and I am very happy with my purchase. Please do not be discouraged that the metals are not marked. You can easily determine this for yourself using the following method: Copper is the metal that is most easily identified due to its color. Aluminum is the lightest of all metals and is very malleable. Lead is the heaviest of the metals and very flexible. Graphite is a thick, lighter piece encased in plastic. It can still be used, but it would be nice to have it complete so it seeps into the solution easily. It is…

Great sentence! Confused which pattern? Read it!

Okay, gang: While I agree that not labeling samples at once is a bit odd, and also a bit rude, it only takes a second to identify them. See attached image/video for reference. (TLDW: Iron is magnetic. Lead bends if you look at it with your eyes. Aluminum is by far the lightest and weighs about half that of zinc.) I bought this because I was looking for graphite anodes. for an electrolytic bath to remove rust (it's happily simmering now, so graphite isn't on the list, but again: if you're having
