Regularly out of service for remote controls and accessories

These remote controls will fail (like clockwork) after about 1 year. Frequently used buttons like POWER just don't work anymore. The problem is the switch error. However, they are so cheap that I will buy another one in a moment.

Download the demonstration console! Not as advertised! SPECIFICATIONS NOT WORKING

The 'functions' and 'channel up' and 'down' buttons do not work and if you press any button the display shows 'demo remote'! I don't know how to fix it, get rid of it so all the cracks work. Waste of money if the seller can't help me program this thing or replace it with one that wasn't used as a demo.
