Just what we needed to play Steam games with Oculus Quest 2. The original Oculus Link cable did not fit our computer. The headset doesn't seem to charge very well, but it's not what we were looking for. The cable is long and very well made. So far there are no problems. Would buy again.

I don't know what's wrong with this cable. It's very well built. Looks good and is quite long. But there are terrible connection problems. Firstly it keeps saying my USB 3.0 is not 3.0, when plugged into my Oculus Q2 it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 5 seconds making communication impossible. It's not my computer because I have a 12 inch cable that works great. Buy at your own risk, other people seem to like this cable. I would like to too, but it doesn't suit me!

This is by far the best cable to use with the Oculus Quest 2. I get a consistent 2.2Gb/s connection through the USB 3.0/3.1 port. I like that you don't need a power supply for the repeater/relay part of the cable. Some have complained about different transfer rates, and that's because some motherboards in the computer don't use high quality USB 3.0/3.1 chipsets. I couldn't afford the official cable and a friend recommended it to me. Everything seemed to work fine at first, but problems started to appear on the first day of use. Most Oculus compatible cables only go up to 16ft / 5m including the official cable. When I saw the built in amplifier being used to extend the distance to 20 feet by running an Oculus USB test on this cable I got mixed results. On first boot I get a consistent 750 Mbps and an indication that it's too slow. So I run it again and it's 1.2 and it's fine. And I run it again and it's 1.7 or 1.8 Gbps which is even better.
