The clasps looked very nice and clean. I believe the instructions I received were for a different type of bar, but I figured it out fairly easily. I can't say enough about the customer service from this company, the first set I got the passenger side fell off somewhere and I didn't notice. They sent me a brand new set for free. 5 Stars. Great company and great product.

These bonnet locks are decent and do the job. However, I noticed two things: First, they are obviously not adjustable, so now the passenger side has more tension than the driver's side. There's nothing you can do about it, unless you want to file the hood mounting holes a bit. Second, the plastic fuse that helps hold the latch in the closed position is very flimsy. When I put the hood on for the first time, it broke.

where to start. The Jeep Wrangler's stock hood latches leave a lot to be desired. As you may know, at certain speeds, the entire hood vibrates and makes an awful noise. Also, the standard hood latches are flimsy and easily discolored in the sun. Luckily, this set is very easy to install and very affordable. They are immediately attached with 3 screws.
