It worked for a few days but not anymore. Then he did. Now it doesn't work at all. He's huge and unattractive. The manufacturer doesn't refund the money but said they would replace it if I wanted to box it up and send it back. The shipping costs would have been outrageous and it was impossible to find a matching box. Don't buy this.

My Alen Fit 50 stopped working after about 18 months. I liked the product but I am giving it a low rating due to the unresponsive customer support. Also: I suggest you don't use an activated carbon filter - very unpleasant smell - mine sits unused in my garage. I now have a Honeywell product that I hope will be sufficient for use in the bedroom of an elderly person with COPD.

I loved this filter until one day it just WAS NOT working. Completely dead. For $550, that's unacceptable. Now I have a $90 spare filter that I can't even use. Very disappointing. TO UPDATE! I feel like an idiot because we changed the air filter and it worked again. For some reason the lights that tell us when to change the filter are/are not working, but everything else about this air purifier is great! Would definitely buy again.

Works but after 2 attempts to contact the company about a broken switch they never responded. I was able to move the switch to a position where the filter would actually work, but it was mounted lug forward so it will snap when you try to push the filter in. Tilt should be forward, switch back. Be careful when changing the filter.
