I used 2 of these bits to drill over 100 holes for 24" rebar through multiple sleepers at once. Both still cut, one sharper than the other now. They outlasted the Irwin snail I started with. Both have become a bit crooked through use, otherwise I would have given them five stars. I will sharpen them and use them again sometime.

I was looking for an inexpensive way to drill holes in trees to insert threaded rods to prevent the possible splitting of multiple trees during a storm. I was surprised at the quality of this bit for this purpose. I completed the project without breaking or even slightly bending the bit. Great quality for the price!
