This is a sturdy hammock that I bought for my chinchillas. It's good quality, but the cheap carabiners that hang it in the case might be metal, not whatever.

I just received this hammock today and my rats love it! It's so soft and easy to install. Mine are all pink and too cute for words. My rat Macy loves hanging out upstairs and my rat Neptune loves napping indoors. it's too cute

All our female rats love this hammock and we have bought it several times. Although I sometimes make my own hammocks, this one from Alfie is so chic that I spend money on a new one every few months. One of our rats loves to use this hammock upside down, pillow side down. This bed can accommodate 2-3 female rats.

Very cute and very soft! I only gave it 4 stars because it's too small for my rats to get into the hammock! I had to cut the corners to make the holes bigger but they still won't go in. My only rat loves to sleep on it so it was a good buy for the price! I would say the holes before I cut them were 1" x 1.5" wide.

They didn't even put the clips on the key rings properly. Very sloppy. The product arrived with clips, just attach the rings. So you have to unzip them and spend 15 minutes with 4 clips to attach (tiny, flimsy, hard to see) to bulky, durable keyrings. Shameful. My nails were ready for the Christmas party and now I've trimmed my nails.

I have three pet rats so I use a lot of hammocks since two of my rats are large rodents. However, they love this hammock so much that they won't chew on it! Although my boys are smaller (one is small), all three love to snuggle up to him together. The clips that hold it are very strong (like clip-on keychains). I highly recommend!

for size reference, my boys are about 3 months old. he is so soft and plush i want him to live in himself. it is also very cute (although the fabric is not the same as in the picture). Unfortunately, my rats seem to prefer large regular cotton hammocks. Sometimes I see her in it, but much less often. It also arrived with oddly buttoned hooks. easy to fix but far from perfect

This hammock is the best hammock I have ever bought for my rats! I've had it for almost a year now and the only fault with the hammock is a small break in the rope holding the hammock but it didn't break badly and that's probably because my two chubby rats love being in it to sleep. at the same time, and they probably chewed it up a bit. Before, my two little rats ate every hammock I gave them. I don't know how they differ, but here they started chewing a little, stopped, and then stopped chewing or scratching. They really like it and they're in it all the time. Washed several times, all ok. I was concerned they might be too small for both, but they both fit great. They're Hug Bugs though, so that helps.
