These poles are very disappointing. The wood shines and the birds' feet don't like them. There is only one washer for attachment. They are almost too narrow for a washing machine to fit on the cage's bars. And they really are too short for my parrots and they are magicians. I can't use them.

These are wooden poles. I thought they were too big for my canaries but they love them. The beauty of getting 5 at once is that you can position them differently to give them different ways of standing or jumping. I've also used a few for support and one for the 'porch' as one of the birds finds the cage door difficult. I also like that they are short as they fit more easily in a cage that already has other stuff in it.

Unlike the others, all five wooden poles are good and usable. The fittings are satisfactory, but there aren't enough shims to use them all. Looking at the promotional information and graphics I see no mention of the number of hardware parts and the graphic only shows one washer per eyelet. Each perch should have two washers so our feathered friends don't damage the sides of the cage and last longer.
