Reliable product. Easy to combine with garage door openers. The signal isn't as strong as the remote that came with my garage door opener, but who really wants to open their garage door a block before they get home? A great alternative to the branded remote control and cheaper. Recommend.

I bought this remote because I have a new car. I didn't want to spend more than 30€ for a branded remote control. Installation is a little tricky if you don't take the time to read the instructions. On my own advice I was able to program the Chamberlain MyIQ garage door remote.

I was willing to return this opener after spending too much time figuring it out. But then I tried the youtube video and found an important instruction that is not in the instructions. Always program the remote control for a closed garage door. That little hint in the instructions would have saved me a lot of time. I love saving money but hate wasting time.

Managed to pair this with a brand not listed in this guide by the color of the button. It works, but the range is very small. If I reverse and have to unload something in the garage, it doesn't work. Only when I drive forward does it work after about 20 crashes. But hey, it also works when I need to roll down the window and frantically wave out the window while pressing the button.

Well it's not that the battery is loose, it's the little strap that holds the battery. I got a Thai remote and synced it up pretty easily... and after 4 days I dropped it out of my bag in the driveway and it stopped working. Although the red LED was on it was dead. The problem was that the solder joints were of poor quality so a connection broke on this battery holder. I put some tape on it to make it work... but sometimes just to remember.

My garage door opener has a purple learn button (Chamberlain Liftmaster Professional). According to the instructions, press 2 times (for purple color) for the learning function, press the learning button and hold the No.1 button to program. After many failed reset/retry attempts, I decided to go back. Started looking for other remotes when I saw the other remotes were for the YELLOW Chamberlain openers.
