Excellent personalized address tape

Excellent tape. You have to buy the control module separately, but this is the nicest LED strip I've ever had (I've had over 15 of them). Thick protection around it, easy adjustment, excellent brightness control. I will buy more for other projects.

these work fine. in led strip

they are bright. The video uses an Arduino Mega. although since then I've been using tinsy with it and it works much better. If you drive a string of lights, make sure you supply more current at the other end, otherwise the color degradation due to the voltage drop will be very obvious.

Super bright, beautiful colors.

Super bright, bought these as test strips for a possible holiday home holiday lighting system that I can program for different occasions. They work great and look great - I just need to figure out how to power them enough when there is not one strip but 5.

Worked great for a month

Although the quality of this WS2812B tape seems much higher than others I've used, it recently failed after just over a month of use. Turns out some of the LEDs burned out and now the whole strip isn't working. I ruled out problems with the power supply and controller. No luck as it is no longer in the return window.

Had some problems with Novelty Lighting

I bought them and used them with a standard 5V power supply and X2ColorController and they didn't work properly. At first they painted cool colors, and then they began to fade in brightness at the other end. At the same time, it gets hotter closer to the power source. Definitely not my fault for using a voltmeter before connecting. Maybe it's just a bad line. Who knows.

Some work some don't

There are many reviews where people say they don't work and there are many reviews where people like these LEDs. Unfortunately, I belong to the first category. I even connected them to a friend who has a known working Arduino setup to no avail. I already cut the strip to the length I wanted, so I now have a nice long piece of LED string. It probably worked or it didn't. Too bad I didn't believe some bad reviews before buying.

Great product best in New Lighting

I made a suit out of this. They worked well and seem pretty solid. However, there are several nuances when working with them. 1. The weatherproof case is too smooth to be hot glued anywhere. The glue will just fall off as it cools.2. Keep in mind what is the maximum power each light source can use (60mA). This allows the entire strip of lights to draw up to 18A!3 with full bright white light. Don't expect to use the entire roll at once as the product image suggests. With a 5V power supply as…

Wow doesn't last long.

I bought some strips of 5 m with 60 LEDs/m and some strips with 30 LEDs/m. It's just that 60 leds/m drew too much power and when I didn't poke in the middle to apply power the color was inconsistent. So I bought IP67 30/m strips and they were great. I followed all the recommendations for capacitors and resistors and it's been 2 years and I had to splice some strips because the pixel could have gone bad. 1 of 11 strips still working after 2 years. it is better to say that 10 out of 11 strips…

Easy Arduino project and great customer support

Very easy to hook up and program the Arduino UNO! Unfortunately my first strip broke but I got another one for free and the customer support was fantastic. The recommended power supply works, but I would recommend a higher maximum current supply (DO NOT apply more than 5V to the strip). I highly recommend the waterproof band. The lights are smooth coated, more durable and of course waterproof. If you're interested in the details I've got them below: I bought a black waterproof strip and the…
