Compared to the fakes they sell, the difference is in the adhesive! I put them on the down and top tubes and all mountain styles are locked and sealed even after a few washes of the bike. Protects the frame properly. The regular size (here) is big enough for a regular top tube and I had no problem gluing it, pulling it up and repositioning it.
