🐠 Enhanced Cross Flow Pump Wavemaker Controller for Allkpoper Aquarium - Jebao CP-25 / CP-40 / CP-55 Series Review

I've had this pump a little over a month and it's stuck. He doesn't work anymore and I have nothing to show for my money. When it worked, it was a relatively quiet pump for the circular style. Don't waste your money here. Buy something better.

I have a 75 gallon tank and it seems to be too strong, after turning it on and even setting it to the lowest flow my fish are concerned. I can't slow it down to the desired speed anymore. The flow control button works weird, you have to go all the way up to come down. The manual says to press the P&N button, but there isn't one. However, this appears to be a good pump for at least 90 gallons and up.

I bought this for a 65 gallon reef tank. It works well. The controls need tweaking, but my tank is 4ft long and I no longer need to use the 3 circulation fans I had. It also runs on low power, so I imagine it would work well with a big, long tank. There was still a dead zone at the back end of the tank that I needed a small fan for because the RPM increase was too much for the corals. But overall it's a pretty good circulation pump.

So far I am very impressed with this wave generator. The packaging was really solid. The flow pump itself is designed for harsh operating conditions. Solid magnet. Double action with high flow. I was concerned that it would be too strong or maybe not strong enough as I couldn't find much information on which pump to use with which size tank. I have a 60 gallon cube and a CP-25. Perfect. Would be too much for a closed tank under 40 gallons, will probably need the next size up for anything over…
