She was a bit shy for a 12 month old but after a few days she liked it. Her feet barely touch the ground so we have to be with her 100% of the time, but we can imagine how much fun she'll have when she's a little older. Good quality children's bike.

My 1 year old gets along pretty well with this bike. She's a little smaller than the year-old average, so she still tiptoes, but that doesn't stop her from moving quickly. The steering wheel doesn't allow for too sharp turns (thank goodness for those of us whose little ones aren't scared). Incredibly easy to assemble.

The bike was very easy to assemble. Simply connect the handlebars to your bike and tighten with the Allen key provided. Tried lowering the seat but couldn't. The tube that allows the seat to be adjusted expands inwards at the end (to make it easier to lower) so it can be filed to keep the same maximum height. My 1 year old daughter loves this bike. It took her a few days to figure out how to sit on the seat. Her height is 31 inches which is a good size for her. Suitable for a smaller or larger child. She rides it through the house to the front door and asks us to take her outside. Very happy with the purchase. I hesitated between this tricycle or quad. My 17 year old is very fast and comfortable on his current 4 wheel bike but it is very light plastic and not easy to handle. I was concerned that he would fight too much and not be interested, but also didn't want to challenge him when he was ready. He's GREAT at it!
