The fastest and easiest way to protect the crankshaft

I really like this tool. This is the best I've found to avoid damaging the crankshaft when installing the pistons. Easy and quick to use.

Pros
  • Engines and engine parts
Cons
  • Small parts

Great for Chevrolet Small Block V8

Used on a 1992 LT1 V8 and it made it fairly easy to loosen the connecting rod cap and then safely push the piston out. Works perfectly! Just tap with your hand, no hammer required. worth your money.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • So far so good

Perfection and time savings

This product does the job. Installing pistons in my V6 Grand Vitara has helped me a lot. I installed the engine myself and saved a lot of time by leaving the bearing on the connecting rod and it was ready to line up the piston on the crank.

Pros
  • Handle guide plates
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model
