The hole pattern did not match my Ford 8.8 flange exactly. I used a standard bolt and on the opposite side I used an M8 bolt and nut instead of a flanged thread (M12). .There are tiny dimples where the wrench tried to turn the tool but didn't. All in all I got my $20 and I'm pretty sure they will survive to make my d44 front.

If you have a Ford this may not be for you.

Will not fit Ford 8.8" sprocket flange. Surprising considering it has to be in the top 5 most popular axles to play around with for a 1/2" or 3/" breaker fully insert 4" as this tool was smaller than expected. I ended up putting two bolts into the flange and using my breaker as a wedge. waste of money. It is also worth mentioning that the picture does not match the actual product. If that were the case, then that might work with pictures of the holes opposite the crowbar holes.

    Pros
    • Easy to use
    Cons
    • Very expensive

    Use common sense == Success

I used this on a DANA 70 transmission flange in a 1994 Ford E-350. The 1-5/16" bushing went through and I attached it to the flange with 2 5/16" bolts with nuts and washers tightened on the opposing tabs. Used a 2 ft 3/4" breaker in the tool which allowed it to stop on the concrete floor and a 1/2" torque wrench set at 250 ft lbs in the socket achieved a 250" click with no problems .Not the most durable tool, but used with common sense and care, it's very useful and better than trying to handle

    Crappy, poor workmanship and strength

Terrible tool, first came with a poorly machined 1" snap bar hole as you can see in the picture before it was taken out of the box. Decided to try and use the smaller 3/4 hole. The hole burst, causing the breaking bar to fly out and hit my ankle. After dropping a few words on the "F" and walking away, I tried my Mac Tool 1 Breaker in the 1" slot. We were about 90% tightened on the shaft nut before the 1 " diameter jumped out. So my truck sits for another week and doesn't get fixed while I wait…

    Pros
    • An absolute legend
    Cons
    • weak

Works on different vehicles. Although it needs improvement.

Works fine on my Dodge Durango 02. I had 2 issues though. First I had to file the center hole a bit to make it bigger to fit my flange, or I could just use shims to increase the spacing a bit. Second, when the bolts were securely bolted to the flange, the 1/2" and 3/4" holes for the pry bar/holding tool were located above the flange. I was not comfortable with the very shallow depth of engagement of the tool and the possibility of the pry bar slipping out is due to the over 210 ft-lbs of torque

    Pros
    • Hands Free
    Cons
    • Security

    Better for light duty applications

I used this product to tighten a rear sprocket nut on a 2002 Ford Tour with a sterling 10.5 axle. I could do this job, but with difficulty. A good tool appeared as indicated. The instrument was well made. The bad plate is flat and was slightly larger than my transmission/axle flange. The elongated holes had to be drilled out to accommodate the flange screws. I had to use my lathe to cut some shims to fit behind the flange to create clearance between the flange and the wrench to allow the 1/2"…
