Description of πŸš— allsun Automotive Electrical Circuit Tester Power Probe: A Comprehensive Diagnostic Tool for Auto Electrical System Diagnosis

EM287 Circuit Tester widely application: can be used to test continuity, test polarity of a voltage, check lamp, check electric motor, follow and locate short circuits, test for bad ground contacts and measure dc voltage from 2V to 24V etc. Automotive power probe has long test lead. The cable length is about 5m(16ft) which allows you test any electrical system easily. allsun EM287 Power probe overload Protection: When the current exceeds 8A, the unit will disconnect the current automatically. Auto probe tester, it's easy to use. Powered by the vehicle battery directly. The illumination function enables automotive technician to test the electrical system in the darkness. Auto electrical tester, take the insufficient light environment in consider, the tool built in flashlight to indicate the DC voltage measurement.

always ready to hand Electric

There are many different versions of this type of tester. For the money I think it was a pretty good deal. It's always handy to have one of these for testing and troubleshooting purposes. I use it often to find opens, power problems and shorts. I would like a little more length on the aux ground cable. Otherwise I am satisfied with the device.

Pros
  • allsun EM287 Power probe Overload protection: If the current exceeds 8A, the device automatically switches off the current.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Very good! best in electrics

Very good tester. Being able to power and/or ground whatever you are testing is great. With this function you can quickly test relays, lamps and motors. Particularly useful when testing power windows. It is slightly larger than the competitive power probe, but significantly cheaper. I recommend having two of these. This makes some diagnoses even faster. I give it one star because the power/ground cable has no strain relief and is slightly bent where it enters the tester. Over time, this leads…

Pros
  • automotive power sensor has a long measuring lead. The cable is approximately 5 m (16 ft) long, making it easy to test any electrical system.
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it, everything is fine

Our 20 year old Jeep had a parasitic traction problem due to a bad ground wire. It seems strange to me, but that's all. And I tried my best to find the cause of the problem but to no avail. I was looking for a diagnostic tool and came across this one. I'm so glad I bought it. Instead of spending lots of money at the store to have them track down the problem, I was able to do it myself. I pulled the fuses until I saw the current drop on the multimeter, then used the schematic to figure out what…

Pros
  • EM287 Circuit Tester Wide Application: Can be used for continuity test, voltage polarity test, lamp test, motor test, short circuit tracing and location, poor ground contact test and DC voltage measurement from 2V to 24V, etc. Only
Cons
  • available in white
