This automotive tool failed to impress me. As my tests showed, it didn't fit properly and couldn't loosen the clutch. The only positive is that it looks sturdy. The cons are obvious - it's a waste of money and time. Don't bother with this replacement part.

I borrowed this set of cutting edge auto parts and it turned out to be the most useless tool I have ever used. Holding the clutch in place requires all of the bolts holding the clutch to be aligned, meaning this is an impossible task.

The title actually speaks for itself. They would be fine for a few uses here and there in small (new!) cars, but if you need them for clutches that are more than 3 years old you might run into problems. On my first use ('05 Topkick) I found the steel too soft to remove the fan clutch. Even after hardening the key, the clutch is not removed.
