This is junk for Tools & Equipment

Unrated. I bought connectors to fix my truck and the one I need doesn't even fit the ball joint like it should. It's a waste of money for something you can't even use. I will never buy tools here again.

Pros
  • Rugged Finish
Cons
  • Zero

They work best in steering and suspension tools

They're a must if you're making those pesky Chrysler proprietary mold ball joints. I brought my 1 ton van control arms to the machine shop along with this set of heads and they made them for me. The one I needed from the kit worked perfectly and didn't break.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Dented

Works like a boss. good for tools and equipment

Worked for my 1991 Dodge D150 front/upper ball joints. Remember that true ball joints relax about halfway. You still have to use some force (hammer) to push it out. I say this because I once knew a guy who would sit and keep turning the ball joint, waiting for it to come all the way out. ;)

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • contact seller

Heavy Duty Heads

worked as advertised but be aware that it took about 1500 ft lbs of torque on a 10 ft breaker to remove the stock ball joints on my Dodge Dakota 89 you will at least 6 ft need 3/4" powered pry bar + cheat bar to get the job done, the 1000 ft LB torque percussion gun isn't powerful enough. Also these sockets show no signs of use or breakage.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Perfect match for OEM! Takes heavy abuse.

Super and durable! Suitable for OEM and other aftermarket correct size ball joints. The cheap O'Reilly universal ball joint is slightly oversized and needs grinding to fit this socket. Stick to quality ball joints so only one mechanic uses this tool on a daily basis. I almost broke my breaker in half trying to unbolt the welded ball joints on my '99 Dodge van.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin
