🧹 Essential Replacement Kit for Ecovacs DEEBOT Robotic Vacuum Cleaner - Main Brush, Filter, and Side Brush Set Review

I just installed these parts in my Deebot N79. They fit perfectly and look high quality. Can't comment on durability yet as they're new, but I don't expect any problems. I'll post a sequel if needed.

I bought these to replace my Deebot N79S. They fit great and are easy to put on, but the durability of the side brushes is TERRIBLE. In the box they were folded up, so I had to fold them back up so they actually touched the ground. They also lose their bristles and snag easily. The main brush is fine, but the bristles fuzz and wear out quickly. For $15 it's not that bad but just treat yourself to $30 and buy 3 packs of branded deebot.

I love my little robot (my kids call him Rob) and I like swapping parts out a lot. I have long hair that gets tangled in the brushes causing them to deform and I don't think they work that well. But this seller's recommendation to soak them in warm water and reshape them is a life saver, I can use a lot less brushes! I've used several non-OEM kits and this one seems to be up to the same standard as the other one I've tried. They get the job done for a lot less money.

I shouldn't have ignored the bad reviews. Bought these primarily for spinning brushes but they are almost useless. Upon opening the package, I immediately noticed that the rotating brushes have about 1/2 the bristle count compared to the OEM set. I installed them anyway. Mistake. They started knotting on first use. If I didn't untangle them after each use, my robot wouldn't sweep very well. When I untangled them, the bristles often broke at the knot or at the base. Includes 3 sets of spare brushes (6 total), main brush and spare carbon cartridge filters. Replacing all parts takes about 20 seconds - the small brushes slide out immediately and the new ones are inserted immediately. I noticed that they held up better than the previous non-original brand when the previous ones came out and I found them on the floor. This spares kit seems like a good deal. However, the side brushes are less durable than the original brushes that came with the ECOVACS unit. After a few uses, the bristles on the brush fell off. I noticed that the two tufts of bristles on the original side brushes were cut off. This may have reduced the tendency of the bristles to get stuck in and out of the machine's wheels.
