I ended up falling and breaking my kneecap I thought the knee brace that I already had would work, no I came across this knee immobilizer. I thought it might work so I ordered it asap. I had it in no time and it's comfortable and keeps me from bending my knee. WORKS PERFECTLY. So if you need an orthosis that prevents you from bending at the knee, this is the orthosis. I ordered the 14", I'm sure the 12" will fit, but I went for the 14" and I'm glad I did.

I think this is a fantastic quality shackle for this price. For those of you worried about size, the item disassembles into three separate pieces (attaches with heavy-duty Velcro) so you can fully adjust it to your size and shape. Instructions included. The entire brace is well padded and the velcro straps and buckles are large and strong. The solid support bar built into the back is very durable. I found it about as comfortable as a straight leg brace, both when walking/crutching and sleeping.

After my surgeon ordered me to wear a stabilizing knee brace for 6 weeks, I researched Revain and read the reviews. I chose this item based on reviews of comfort, price, and quality. After it arrived, I attempted to put the orthosis on by following the "Instructions for Use and Installation” that came with the orthosis.
