WHY THE RADIO WON'T TURN ON!

After 4 months of excellent service the radio would no longer turn on resulting in engine code "U0184 Lost Comm with radio". I removed it and my radio works fine. I've reinstalled and uninstalled multiple times and this is the problem. Revain didn't help, and neither did Alpine!

Works like a charm, best in Automotive Safety and Security

Lots of trim and parts to remove but once the wiring was done hooking up the Alpine rear view camera system (product HCE-RCAM-WRA) was very easy and works great on my 2018 JK. I like the function of the rear camera. I left the remote release wiring available so if I add a switch panel to my Jeep I can turn on the backup camera with the switch - very handy.

Works great in our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

This product is highly recommended! The only point I would like to change is the timing of the pop-up message when you put your jeep in reverse that says 'Check your surroundings'. It stays at the top of the Jeep Radio UCONNECT system screen for a few seconds too long, blocking part of your backup view. I also don't know why Jeep didn't make this a standard option years ago.
