Boy Scouts Approved!

It looks great, love the different apps it has and it will serve my son well in his various boy scout adventures. He's 11 and very excited about it. He has made sure to learn most of its features himself and loves to wear it every day. It uses the wake up function to get you on time in the morning and that's probably one of the things I love most about it! ;-)

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not sure

Good watch Heart rate monitor

The accuracy of his heart rate monitor is comparable to my portable digital heart rate monitor HB (Omron brand). His thermometer is comparable to my Accurite Weather Monitor and alcohol thermometer. Its compass is also accurate, but always needs calibration. The downside is its readability, poorly readable number due to low contrast and poor backlight. In general I liked the watch, the size of the case is just right for my wrist and the bow of the strap is very comfortable on the wrist.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Outdated

Good value for money best sport and outdoor accessory

Nice watch, good fit, not very easy to use but once you get through the maze of instructions it has a lot of nice and useful features . It can look a little busy and frustrating at first, but after taking the time to figure out how to read and what to do in general, this is a good reliable watch for measuring heart rate, weather, altitude etc giving a five would stars , except that it takes some effort to figure it out because the instructions are not laid out well and the face can be a little…

Good watches: weather monitors

The battery lasts about 2 weeks with normal use on a single charge. If you use other features like the heart rate monitor, it will last about 1 week on a single charge. Charging takes about 2 hours. The altimeter is in no way inferior to Casio. The compass is accurate from my use. When worn, the thermometer is about 10-15 degrees above the ambient temperature. Taking the watch off will give a good temperature reading, but it may take 30 minutes. My watch is green with a positive reading. The…

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Reliable watch after six weeks

As a scouting person I wanted a decent watch with some navigation features and went for this one. What I've done with this watch: Hike with an altimeter and compass – Swim to the bottom of a 10ft pool repeatedly – Surf a 3ft shore – Track heart rate and pedometer while running – Track barometric pressure during nearby hurricanes – Partially dissolved in the back of the watch while being worn while still damp with bug repellent (ugly but it still works) Fun Facts: The watch is sized to fit my…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Almost OK

Good watch - functions appear to be accurate

The watch corresponds to the seller's description. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and in that time I've confirmed that the barometer is accurate. It's hard to tell about the temperature readings, but they're certainly within the normal range (take off your watch to get an accurate reading of the ambient temperature). Distance traveled in travel mode is accurate (I used my car and the GPS app to check it). The clock keeps time well and has alarms if you need them. The compass works…

Reliable watch after 6 weeks

As someone involved in Boy Scouts I wanted a decent watch with some navigation features and went for this one. What I've done with this watch: On multiple hikes with an altimeter and compass - Repeatedly swam to the bottom of a 10ft pool - Bodysurfed a 3ft shore break - Tracked heart rate and pedometer while jogging - Tracked barometric pressure, as hurricanes passed nearby- The back of the watch partially resolved by putting it on while still wearing insect repellent (ugly, but it still works)

Pros
  • Colour: Black/negative reading
Cons
  • Legacy model
