These bags are deeper than a standard kitchen bag which makes it much easier to zip up a full load. The bottom seam holds up well, but the material is quite flimsy, so sharp edges will tear the bag up instantly. Good value for money.

I would not use Aluf Plastics 12-16 gallon (1000 pack) clear trash bags - 24ft x 33ft - 8 micron bags for my garage trash can where large pieces of metal are thrown but for office, bathroom , etc. they work well and the price per thousand bags is very good.

As you only need two or three bags per jar they are not worth the cost and hassle. Though recycled rather than common kitchen waste, there was no way these flimsy, flimsy bags could hold tin cans or sharp paper edges.

One of the photos shows the bag weighing 2 mil but look closely and you will see that it has been cut off and the label on the box that arrived says 0.52 mil! 0.5 has been omitted from the photo. For the price I am very pleasantly surprised. I was expecting flimsy/cheap bags but they are strong and durable enough. They are also much sharper than in marketing photos. Keep in mind that this is for my trash can, which is basically light trash. They probably won't work well for my regular trash can.

Was expecting to use these for general household kitchen waste but was very disappointed. They rip when you take them out of the bins the liners are intended for. They are thin and tear easily. The only thing they are useful for is storing recyclable plastic bottles. They don't hold weight like cans and can easily be torn by cereal, rice or pasta boxes.

We have so many garbage cans and trash cans at home I figured I'd buy 'good' branded trash liners for the two 13 gallon trash cans we have and then use THESE paper trash liners, all of which are little trash liners in each room about 4-5 gallons.
