Screw and knurled thumb are two parts, not one part. On the second use it came off and I had fun coming back without the thumb piece.

First of all, IT IS NO CHROME, not at all, but it seems to work. It's the right size/pitch but too big for my '99 FXSTC. Gets in the way of the actual location.

This is the second one I have. I've had another one for years with no noticeable wear. I loosened the old one to cover the seat with a rain cover and forgot to retighten it. They are absolutely worth their money.

When I placed the order the delivery time was stated to be within a month. Finally delivered in 3 days (or 27 days earlier depending on how you look at it). Good. Bolts are exactly as shown, great for the 2008 Heritage Softail Classic.

That's cheap crap. It is in 2 parts so the head can be easily unscrewed from the top. This combined with the fact that the post itself was too thick for a standard Harley step-in. means it can't screw all the way in, and if you try to screw it out, the head pops out and the one-piece left gets stuck in the fender. You can remove it with pliers, but it doesn't fit Harley. So if you have a Harley. Don't waste your time and money with this product

I bought 2 packs of these because as we all know Harleys can vibrate a bit so there's a good chance you'll lose one of those seat bolts one day. It's just good value for money, they have good knurling so they're easy to tighten, the knurled part is aluminum, the screw is chrome steel, it has a captured concave steel washer with a rubber friction washer, and that combo is bound to do a good job of anti-vibration.

They look great and are exactly as described. My problem was that my weirdo, 33 year old Harley, ended up in another thread. I was able to take the bolt out of the grip and make a bolt that fits both the grip and my bike. It was my fault for not knowing what threads were on my bike and this item is good and fits perfectly on a bike with those threads so I will not blame either the seller or the item if it is exactly as described is equivalent to. The quality of the 2 screws is very good. The only thing I didn't like was that the head of the bolt was designed with a high profile, which is handy for removing it easily. He pressed down on the stock leather seat, this is a 2015 HD FLSTC. Since I only needed one screw, I experimented with a different screw, removing the bolt from the head with an allen wrench and sanding down the space under the screw head.
