I don't see much of a difference in build quality between this unit and the much more expensive parking tensiometer I've used in the past. I'm not sure about the accuracy of the measurements, but I think everything is fine.

I also have nothing to compare. I don't have a calibration tool to check if it's calibrated properly, although the documentation that came with it says so. That's half the price of the Park tool. I had no problems with that. And it looks like the job is done for me. I am happy with my purchase.

However, some spokes are difficult to machine without scratching other spokes. The tensioner, which I hope is calibrated the same as the Park Tool settings, sticks out a bit and is hard to find between them. I've found that on some wheels it's easier to hook onto the spoke by approaching it from the opposite side of the wheel.
