🔧 High-Quality Aluminum Thread Allen Socket Plugs: Durable and Efficient Solutions Review

I purchased these plugs and a 1/8" NPT tap to fit a drain plug on my John Deere differential. Deere lawn tractor. This allows I now change the oil without having to remove the entire rear axle assembly from the lawn tractor each time what a time saver good quality carving.

I ordered 1/4 NTP and what I got is much smaller. Look - the maximum outside diameter should be 0.54" and these measurements are 0 .52" It may not sound like much, but it's too low for NPT. Judging by the reviews, some of them are good and some are bad. I definitely got sick and they will be back.

This is just the right size for NPT plugs. Some reviewers seem to be misinformed about how the NPT diameter is measured. Based on the bad reviews I thought the plugs might be mislabeled but after receiving them they were fine, some high temp Permatex thread sealant and it worked great. : A 1/4 NPT male has an outside diameter of about 3/8, which is perfectly correct. Installed to cover the regulator hole in my aluminum v-twin engine block instead of using a big chunky bolt. A bit pricey and…
